Talk Talk
Talk Talk, I looked for these guys in the search and they weren't there and fell over...Any of you heard of them? GREAT 80's band from the U.K. Loved them...Giving us great songs like "Talk Talk", "It's A Shame" (Loved the synths, bass and drums in that one) "Dum Dum Girl", "Renee" etc. etc....I also remember when I got the Atlantic Popes cd and there was a song on there named TalkTalk I immediately thought of these guys...

Play with your own life, but don't play with mine... Trent Listening to me old vinyl here, I forgot to mention "It's My Life" *Dances all over his living room and feels like he's a million lightyears away with the synths in this one* I LOVE THIS BAND!!!!!!
Edited by - Trent on 24 May 2001 15:38:12 |

Yes, Talk Talk were a great band. They had a special style, and a very uniqe sound. I have a lot of favorites; "Such a shame", "Talk talk", "Today", "Its my life", "Again a game...again" and "Another day".
And have you heard the b-side of "Life is what you make it"? Its a track called; "Its getting late in the evening", and its the most beautiful song talk talk has written. For those who dont know talk talk, do youselves a favour and give it a listen. I reccomend these albums; "The party's over" and "Its my life".
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
|

I´ve only heard It´s a shame, and the first time I didn´t even hear it because I thought that there would be elephant thru the whole song...but it was quite good.

Yeah Trent, but I think there are some other videos from other artists that are even more boring than the video of 'It's a shame'...
*It doesn't matter*
|

Another of the 10 records I bought today were Talk Talk´s It´s my life. I only knew the song such a shame (?) and it has a very nice synthfeeling.
