Alphaville 30th anniversary in Paris - Page 44 - Alphaville Forum

This show was significant for me, since I'm returning to my home State, California, next year and probably will never get to see AV ever again.
I thought it was a great show all around, it felt really nice to hear what are mostly favorites all in one evening.
I watched the second half from the balcony because the floor became kind of like a mosh pit. I saw all kinds of people, old, young (someone brought their little kid) and in between.
I was suprised at the lack of an after party, I also think something went wrong there. But I really admired Marian, who must have stood for hours, signing autographs and taking smiley picture after smiley picture, and I'm grateful for that.
It will be a great memory in any case.
I wished I had been more social, but I was really, really sick and by the end of the show could barely stand (still worth it though!) and so had to run away and collapse in my hotel LOL.

It was a really good show with a couple of surprises: Marian at the beginning, Anyway at the end. Nice to meet all old friends again, last time I met some of you was ten (!) years ago in Berlin (oh happy memories). I really love you all, I appreciate this society a lot!

Too bad there wasn't a decent and organized after party. I stayed for the DJs at the end, went from the venue around 1.30 am and everyone had left by then except for Carsten. Met up with some of you at a nearby bar, but the bar closed down not too long after that which was a pity.

I want a fanclub meeting now!

Looking at all pictures, I've found the flyers ! They were close to the doors, since their opening.
So it's not a surprise if there we no more after the show.
