It's like receiving a hammer on the head. I just can't admit it. [cry]

I can't believe I'll never be able to talk to Martin again. It's too surreal.

Think I'm still waiting for it to hit shore. Hey Tobi, I wrote on the Facebook page about opening a condolence book online where everyone can share their memories about Martin. Do you think that might be a possibility? Something special might help us all start to come to terms with this and I think someone as special as Martin deserves something special. I don't know about everyone else but I just feel so useless right now.

Since yesterday I have been trying to find what could be the right words to say.
In vain. I have failed to do so. The overwhelming felings are shock, speechlessness and, above all, sadness. And it even feels worse today. Yes, Tobi, awareness comes in waves. Martin, to me it is a privilege to have met you, and it was always a pleasure to talk to you. The memories of you will never fade away. You have been and always will be an integral and essential part of Alphaville. I'd like to send my condolescences and my thoughts to his family and his friends. Martin, we will miss you. Keep playing your music up there in Heaven. I know you will. |

hi karen, i like the idea, but i fear that none of us currently has the composure to set it up properly, so at the mo the forums and fb have to serve that need. I'll team up with anja when the time is right to create some nice memory page, and i'll make sure to take that idea into consideration.

Completely understand and thanks. I can't stop thinking about poor Anja and what she's going through right now. Her heart must be completely broken.

Terribly sad news. Martin was a wonderful person and an excellent musician. May he rest in peace.
My sincere condolences and sympathies to Martin's family, loved ones and to the band. Ronen |

My condolences to Anja too. I can't imagine what she's going through.
