On TV last night. BBC two documentary about the 80s. They played Big in Japan and then a small bit of Forever Young. Almost distracted me from the politics of the thing.

Okay, I think the most unusual time was the first time I heard Alphaville. I was an art student and did not listen to the radio much. I had a casette tapes, but my phsse at that stage was mostly opera, a bit of Lena Lovich and a few others, I'll had on cassette. Then I met a friend, his name was Miias. He was utterly devoted to me. He made me new cassetes and brought back some golden memories, Yasoo, for one. End 1984 I was admitted to hospital. Mias made me a cassette of the first album of AV. I loved it. I thought Marians voice was somehow much like the sidereal equator.
