Pointrox Production
Yeah, sometimes I'm feeling like remixing something [smile2]
This time I decided to give "I Die for You Today" a go. Here it is: http://www.4shared.com/audio/vPqGa8E...r_you_tod.html It's pretty much inspired by a-ha's "Butterfly (The Last Hurrah)". Yeah, it's missing the vocals. I'd love to add them but I don't think that they would provide them for first best music producer. And probably not for free :( |

I don't usually listen to nor like remixes, rehashes and so on but...I like this...very much! With the vocals over the top, it would be great!
Now, why didn't Alphaville do it this way??? Then I would have agreed with all the "back to the 80s" and "old sound of Alphaville" hype. I also think an arrangement like this would fit the lyric better.

Same here, I like this creative work. The fact that it's only instrumental does not bother me though.
Very nice to listen, Pointrox ! |

Doesn't bother me either. In fact, I listen mostly to instrumental music (Mike Oldfield is my absolute fave artist of all time). I just think this arrangement would suit Marian's vocals well...but that probably will never happen...

Thank you for your comments [smile2]
As for the vocals - I sent a message via fan contact e-mail regarding vocal tracks (or acapella) of "IDFYT". Still waiting for the answer. |

I don't think they will give you the vocals. It would be nice though.
But great track by the way. Could certainly be interesting to hear vocals on it. |
