I had never heard of italo disco until I heard you guys talking about it...maybe it was not so well-known in the States, or maybe I am just rather young, or maybe both...

I like "Tonight" A LOT though! (thanks, Willy )...and...does Baltimora fit in this genre? I have one Baltimora record...

I'd like to hear more!!!

Open your eyes and let the sun break in for a while...there may be something that you've never seen inside...

As far as I remember does Baltimora belong to the genre.
Does anybody remember Valerie Dore? I think they had two or three hits in the eighties (one of them
was "The Night", that someone terrible covered recently).
But the best Italo-Pop-Formation ever were Scotch!!!

Fun reading stuff from this guys site (look above) - his story reminds me a lot of Alphaville fans meeting on the internet, the same goes for fans of Italo Disco:

Well, I'll tell you - despite of it all you are in good position! Really! Since you are reading this text, this means you are familiar with computers and Internet. Maybe there are not so many Italo Disco fans, but joined with the Net, we create quite nice crowd. It's enough to mention that Internet has over 400 sites devoted to our music :) And you can find a lot of informations there. From Italo Disco labels' catalogues, through sleeves' scans, pictures, as to desired tunes both in mp3 form and totally legal vinyls and CDs. Whatever you want. People are ready for swapping or selling. It is possible to gather whatever you are dreaming of :)

Another site: http://www.italomix.com/

Back in the good old 80s I had most of these megamixes: Bolero Mix, Italo Mix, Max Mix and so on...
