I already commented on the German forum:
Could be an agreed sales volume which they have not achieved and so instead of producing more "expensive" versions, they produce cheaper (without booklet etc) and if they fail to sell the losses are lower. But - this is pure speculation. I honestly hope there's something different, like a marketing strategy behind that I do not understand yet ... |

probably more along the lines of greed.... release it in every way possible to make the most amount of money off it and it wouldn't surprise me if this release was slightly different in musical content as well meaning that I would have to buy it to hear a different version of the songs........

The album re-entered the official German top 100 album charts last week at number 50. This week it's at 49.

I wonder if there is a small chance that the Album some day will reach German gold status. Should be hard with the chartrun in mind, but mayby as it was realesed in a period with decent sales and if the album could countinue to stay in the top 100 and if the promotion keeps going with a third and fiurth single. They have to keep it going now. SFNO dident chart good at all but i it works as a album promoter and thats most importent

Do we have sales figures so far (physical + digital) for the album ? I'd like to know if CROG did best than Salvation.

I know the album TV/Radio promotion remains rather local, but 50.000 seems a bit low... or is it for the singles only ?

If it is 50,000, it does seem low. Is that physical copies only or inclduing digital downloads? If physical, could be understandable since the physical forms of albums are nowhere near as popular as they used to be.
