Does anyone have a good AVI to DVD they can recommend ? Currently I use:

But itīs not perfect - sound is not in synch with the original material.

Yes....it's for real when I say it's the best! It's not that expensive either. I've had Norton for some years before I changed to eSet. WHAT a change I say....it doesn't slow down the computer at all and everything is done automatically in the "background". Furthermore it has also been tested as the best in catching viruses!

@wii: It's been a while since I last encoded avi to DVD because I now have a DVD player with USB in and a USB pen so I can download videos and put it on the pen to watch it on my plasma screen

But when I encoded videos I used several programmes....I remember using Virtual Dub and TMPGenc Plus and I think I also tried AVI2DVD. But you can learn a lot from this page: http://www.videohelp.com/
