@Avil: If you were the same person you were when you joined the forum would you still think there was too much crap??? You say that you haven't changed but the forum has....In my opinion both have changed....the forum because it's bigger....you probably because you're older and don't spend nearly as much time here as you used to do....

and btw....I'm happy as well about how the forum is these days....

My age hasn't anything to do with all this.
And no, I'm not here as often as before. I do have the time to be here (because I'm active on other political forums) but I choose not to be because of different reasons.

Anyway Avil....YOU have also changed (that was my point - don't care about the reason) not just the forum!

And like Willy said...cheer up! We have a new "Headlines" coming really soon and lots of exciting AV stuff to look forward to in 2004. Why be bothered by some small-talk in the forum??!? Better to have 30 messages a day (with 30% not so serious) than 3 messages a day (and some of those would also be unserious anyway)...

I think we did a good job through the years to keep people starting new topics about the same subjects and writing too much crap in topics were it´s not welcome, we have the General Conversation forum for that, and it´s working very well. The big question though is:

Peter, why did you wake up this old topic ?
