Wasn't that the idea behind the websongs for CS anyway?

I can't vote - I think anything they do needs a good balance of all elements, not more of one.

Before you judge me, make sure you're perfect.

I agree Kaz.
Generally: Should there rather be a category "More good songs" for those people, who didnīt like
CS ? I mean, instrumentation, style, sound etc. is important, but the point is composition and arrangement and that is exactly what has become different, since the line-up (and Marians intentions) have changed. Why do the classics of AV work that well in every stylistic garment ?
Only because itīs great compositions, no matter how much synth or guitar is used.

Of course, everything is a balance, but CS lacks the synth sound that is so typical AV, thatīs why the idea for this poll, or ask poul e.

When I want rock and roll I listen to John Mellencamp, not AV !

For me the most different things about Crazy Show from other AV releases are the "not quite as great production" & less synth. I agree to a certain point that arrangement & production are what's most important, but still....for me the synth (& Marianīs voice) are the 2 things that have made Alphaville my favourite band of all. And if Marian's voice isn't quite as strong as before, there is less synth & the production is getting worse then it's going in the wrong direction in my opinion. But this poll is not about production, but about which way the music should change instrumentally if you as a fan could decide. Therefor I voted for more synth because Alphaville & synth fits together IMO.

And Jonathan....of course techno is synth, but I still don't like techno because it's too mechanical to my liking....

I voted for more acoustic because that suits Marian's voice so well, but I think what I like about Alphaville is that each song is completely different, and the style they chose is what suits each song, not so much the whole album. I hope it stays that way.
