New Alphaville album "Thunderbaby"

Can't wait for Thunderbaby ...better be patient though I suppose :) it will be worth it ,in the meantime FY remastered in March yay

Sounds like an album ala Monkey In The Moon, Guardian Angel, Marionettes With Halos or ambient ala Pandora's Lullaby, Forever Young, Flame. Gary Numan went from being ambient to Industrial rock via Nine Inch Nails. His new sound is just brilliant

I love all the songs you mentioned except for Marionettes with Halos which I honestly think is the worst song Alphaville ever had made.

Marionettes With Halos is about celebrities on TV reality shows and talent grabbers feeding the music mogul's ego. It has a great groovy Alphaville chorus.

Why do you not like it it?

Well,the melody and rhytm(if the song has any),musicstyle,It reminds me of the old song Funky Town(Lips INC.)which I hated,I usually found something good in every song Alphaville made but
with Marionettes there is nothing I really hate it.

As for Thunderbaby I really hope that AV will be inspired by the re-release of Forever Young
and give us more pop and synths on the new album(no more funk and rock as it was on SA)
and hopefully AV will have Bernhard to produce the next album that would be great
