" BMI AWARD FOR ALPHAVILLE
Alphaville have received a BMI award for their song "Forever Young" which has previously been covered by Jay-Z. Marian Gold and Bernhard Lloyd met their publisher Prof. Dr. Rolf Budde (CEO Budde Music) in Berlin in order to get the award handed out. Alphaville won this price due to the fact that Jay-Z's adaption had been broadcasted more than 3 million times in US radio and TV in the year 2010. The band was not able to pick up the award at the BMI ceremony on 4th of October in London because of their tour presenting their new album "Catching Rays On Giant".

Thanks! Thats interesting...but I honestly think Jay-Z ruined Forever Young. Alphaville willl always be the best!
