I voted for a-ha even though I don't consider them a synth band since they've always had acoustic instruments as well. They're my number one band. They're certainly no synthband since after 1990.
The best real synthband except Alphaville would be Erasure I think. |

Impossible to name them all in 1 poll. Anyway, I wouldn´t call them a synthband either. |

They had the most hits of all. What Kraftwerk did in the 80s was not much and certainly not that pioneerishly as in the second half of the 70s. Human League were big pioneers, especially in 1980 when they released "Travelogue", still not enough. Anyway...don't care about categories like synthpop anyway though. |
