"First Harvest" because it has all the essentials - and really cool remix versions of SLAM, Jet Set and AVOL.
"Forever Pop" is also very good with a few exceptions...the live albums rocks! "The Singles Collection" just hasn't got enough tracks on it and i'm not so into old-fashioned extended versions anymore. |

FP, although, as usual, it wasn't easy. They're all good, and though I do not have First Harvest, I have heard the BiJ remix elsewhere, and that's good, too.

SNAAL! I guess, it's the best Live-Album I've ever heard. And it was the beginning of beeing fan again after a break of several years.

'Singles collection' rule, because extended versions rule... Call me naive, but I still wait for a day when all the regular B-sides from vinyls will be released on a CD. I hate vinyls! No, I don't think they sound bad, far from it. I think they sound GREAT. But I cannot stand the thought that every time I listen to any given record, its quality is getting worse. Very very slightly, but still. I would love vinyls if I had that super-duper laser player that makes no harm to vinyls. But it costs a small fortune...

Amen, Olek! Maybe someday, we'll see that. I'm hoping, too.
Do I hear DS13? (nudge nudge) [smile2] @fireflyer: Are there any significant differences in the Jet Set and AVOL remixes (First Harvest)? I'm checking out some soundbites via Amazon, and while I can hear a definite difference in SLAM, the other two don't give me enough to tell.

tough decision - I wish I could have voted for two as it was a toss up between FP and SNAAL...... eventually, FP won.
