This is really shocking and heartbreaking news. Martin was not only a very skillful musician and composer, he was also a very great, joyful and friendly guy and he will be missed by the whole Alphaville universe! RIP, dear Martin and thanks for all the joy you spread.

Me2, i'm really shocked. I think Martin was one-of-a-kind. Superb in Synth, and all the things he did as composer / songwriter etc... I will remember the live meetings, with an extra dimension. RIP Martin

The most unwanted news I´ve had for a long time. I don´t want to believe it, it´s not right. Only months before his band celebrates its 30th anniversary. So incredibly unfair. Rest In Peace guardian angel Martin
