well Spawn,
Both of these machines are good,it's just a matter of money!!! i think Akai has a very strong experience in the domain, but Yamaha is also well known. If i was you,i'll go for Akai Syntetico |

Thanks syntetico, but I've made up my mind! maybe Akai is leading regarding samples but the A3000 is much better than the S-2000 regarding ease of use, quality of sound, and FX! I checked them out last night at a friend of mine who owns both.

HI @ ALL
@SPAWN: I don´t know anything about the Yamaha sampler. The leading companys regarding samplers are AKAI and EMU. I´m an AKAI addict...since 13 years...although I´m using basically the samplecell inside my Protools TDM-System nowadays. If you are used to work with emax, you should really think about another EMU-sampler...don´t know which one...cause they are considered to have the best sound. +0:-) www.atlanticpopes.de everybody is a pope...... |

Patricia´s park is by Ricky and my stuff is always an expression of the mood I was in...not that much to say about it, at least not for me. @syntetico: Thanks a lot for the compliments, and let your girlfriend be addicted...it´s not unhealthy Max is not french, he is german, but he usually spents half of the year in France an speaks nearly perfectly french. He loves the fench culture like I do....hmmm the food. +0:-) www.atlanticpopes.de everybody is a pope...... |

Well I’m not that interested in Emu systems anymore after they began working with Creative Labs. I think the sound is to cold and clean for me…. yes I know, I’m weird! I love my Emax II but I only have 1MB to work with, and the memory chip kits aren’t available anymore. That's the only reason I'm looking for a new sampler. But If you’re a Akai addict?? Maybe I should take a closer look at the S-2000. But I’ve heard that it’s not that great to work with…. Bernhard help!!! I need a Akai man’s opinion on the S-2000
Kind Regards Sean |
