As for me, while not sick-sick, the one real hassle is in the right ear. Not the first time, but this time, I'm trying a few things that we have around the place.
I saw a couple of great lists for natural remedies, so wanna try those before I resort to whatever the doctors may give me. Hello, my friend... |

So, a week ago I fell in a major storm that cut all roads into and out of our town. I think the wind actually lifted me. I landed on the wet pavement on my back. Paramedics arrived but had to take me home again as the route to the hospital was closed and the medical centre roof was almost blown off. A nearby hotel did lose much of its roof. I did get an x-ray later. No bones wrecked. Just bruising. Hurts like hell. The reason I'm posting this, is that I'm due in Berlin at an Alphaville concert in February. I am going but if anyone sees me, and I look rather pained, you’ll understand why. If ever there was reason to make the most of numbered seats, it's this. Anyone want to join me in the old folks gallery?

I hope you'll be able to fully enjoy the concert, Clare.
But I do wish all concert venues had numbered seats, as my old knees protest all the time. :D |

Still hurts like hell. More tests next week. I'll be a sore little old lady in Berlin. I have gone over the top with creature comforts to make the trip doable. I have booked an airport lounge, an aisle seat (it's Ryanair. I didn't win the lottery) and a decent hotel with spa, so I can arrive at the concert all chilled. I'm so glad this didn't happen when I was really skint.

I'm sorry that it's still sore. Hoping for a Miracle Cure. <3

It still hurts. That was tough. Being seated for so long was tough. Seats are OK as long as there's a choice. I will never go to a concert at an all seats venue again.

Aw, that's terrible.
I think I could handle a whole concert in a seat, but it is hard to stay in your place all the time. ;( |
