I die for you today was moved lower in the list in Berlin and was performed with Jana Gross. But I don't remember when exactly it was.

Compared to last year, the background video for Next Generation turned to B&W. What didn't change is the strange text: for the most part furtive words, and some sentences in the end. The following may not be 100% accurate or comprehensive (sorted ascending A/Z):
Burn__________Find__________Rate__________Unjam Change__________Fix__________Rock__________Up Click__________Go__________Save__________Use Crack__________Load__________Scan__________Twitch Cross__________Lock___Look__________Send__________ Work Cut__________Paste__________Scroll__________Write Date__________Plug__________Share__________Zoom Erase__________Post__________Snap__________ Fax__________Press__________Touch__________ Fill__________Print__________Tune__________ ------------- GOD LIKES TO WATCH PRANKSTER (?) I SWEAR [...]AMUSEMENT GIVE YOU A LITTLE INSIDE HE SETS THE RULES OPPOSITION LOOK, DON'T TOUCH [...] I would be curious to know the final part in full!

Thanks you very much jetset, very interresting indeed!
Have you got all the words ? I mean does the count 37 is correct (assuming Lock/Look is an incertitude) ? Makes me think I'd love a DVD with all background stages videos from past & present. edit: 31/37 on those words can be found in the lyrics of 'Technologic' from 'Daft Punk' (4/7/2005) 36/37 with choosing 'Lock' over 'Look' and replacing: 'Post' by 'Pose' or 'Pause' (depending on the lyrics' source) 'Unjam' by 'Jam' and 'Unlock' 'Share' by 'Change' or 'Charge' 'Rock' by 'Lock' Only 'Go' seems a no match. edit2: ...let me give you a little inside information about God. God likes to watch. He's a prankster. Think about it. He gives man instincts. He gives you this extraordinary gift, and then what does He do? I swear, for his own amusement, his own private, cosmic gag reel, he sets the rules in opposition. It's the goof of all time. Look, but don't touch. Touch, but don't taste. He's laughing his sick, fucking ass off! He's a tightass! He's a sadist! He's an absentee landlord! Worship that? Never! from 'Devil's Advocate' script transcript 1997. http://www.script-o-rama.com/movie_s...ranscript.html

Hey Halfy, I think you've cracked it! For example "print scan send fax" are on one same line in the video. It's tough to decode because of the "don't blink" mode, even frame by frame, and the spacing and capitalization of the letters makes it tricky. The end of the animation is even madder to get. Anyway, hats off to you!
Edit : it may well be a double crack, the quote from 'Devil's Advocate' seems to fit. Was not expecting a solution, that is awesome! |

You did all the hard work, jet-setter friend. All I had to do is put some words in a search bar, no sweats, my kind of work!
The 'absentee landlord' theme reminds me of 'Message in a Bottle' from Dreamscape 8ight. |

Great work, Halfy. Here is the lyrics to "Technologic" by Daft Punk Buy it, use it, break it, fix it, Trash it, change it, mail, upgrade it, Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it, Snap it, work it, quick, erase it, Write it, cut it, paste it, save it, Load it, check it, quick, rewrite it Plug it, play it, burn it, rip it, Drag and drop it, zip, unzip it, Lock it, fill it, curl it, find it, View it, code it, jam, unlock it Surf it, scroll it, pose it, click it Cross it, crack it, twitch, update it, Name it, read it, tune it, print it, Scan it, send it, fax, rename it, Touch it, bring it, pay it, watch it, Turn it, leave it, stop, format it. Could you please explain this line 'Message in a Bottle' from Dreamscape 8ight.I can't find a track that goes by that name I'm gliding in the distance and watch the world go by An orbit full of questions, a perforated sky |

Not a song, one of the short stories from the Dreamscapes Booklett. They were:
'To whom it may concern!' (1ne) 'Eiscreme - Madchen' (2wo) 'And I Wonder' (5ive) 'Guest Of Honour' (6ix) 'Facts Not Fiction'(7even) , 4 funny statements by Olek 'Message In Bottle' (8ight) 'Epilogue 9 (The Waiting Room Of Kingdom Come)' |
