Jon Lord was an outstanding personality and keyboarder.

I was familiar with his work on a level with alphaville ... He was professional and made an enormous contribution to modern music. R.I.P.

For me as a Whitesnake fan he was more a hero of the 80s. Although I finally bought "April" on CD just a couple of month ago.
I love the intro of "Here I go again". The old version with the original line-up, of course. Not the later US-single-version. Found a nice live clip: |
