I voted for "other", which would be Erasure!!! Alphaville and Erasure might be the only two bands that I have adored since the eighties, and still love. Bernhard...Vince...[love2] the synths.

I voted for A-ha though the last two albums of the group are rather colorless...But I love their earlier stuff...The Sun Always Shines On TV is one of the greatest songs of that period, to my mind.

Agreed, Plagiarism is a very good starting point, it has a bit of everything altho I dont think it represents the guitar based stuff very well, and I dont like those collaborations with Faith No More but I think people here would probably be more interested in the synth stuff tho.
