7. Doing 2 lipsynch songs for the Russian TV is nothing but fun. 8. With heavy synths, the new album is not influenced by Wolfsheim and is not back to the roots, but rather back to the future (AVOL type???). 9. Martin Lister is now producing another band which uses NO synths (and therefore has nothing to do with AV). This is why he has been replaced temporarily for the live shows. 10. The book - AV bio - is in the making. 11. The most important news (for I do care for people's health) - Marian has finally stopped smoking!!!!!!! :):):):):):):):) |

I didnīt edit the chat messages at all between when Martin logged in and out (why should I?) - the transcript does remove the logged in and out messages automatically.

I noticed that because the chat was slow, sometimes there weren't any messages for like 2 minutes, then a whole bunch would appear within one second.

Yeah !
Yeah ! But as far as I know, all the messages are kept in the log.
Iīm thinking of ways for improving the chat performance, not easy, since chats requiere a lot of server resources, I was actually surprised it didnīt crash when there were over 40 online Quote:

Slow? Not here! Here it was damn fast, even when there where more than 20 people in chat! Even then the connection was more than 80%.

Actually for me it was quite stable. Maybe because I was hardly writing anything and only watching others chatting. :)

I have just realized that I have probably explained myself the wrong way in my message above, so let me correct that:
<<So, what can we conclude from the chat?>> 9. Martin Listen is BUSY at the moment producing another band (which somehow doesn't sound like Alphaville since they use no synths, as we can see from the samples on their website) and he's also busy with other important things, so this is the reason he has been temporarily replaced for the Russian show by someone else. The fact that Martin will not perform in Russia has nothing to do with the fact that the band he produces USES NO SYNTHS :) And it also doesn't mean that Martin has left Alphaville for good!!!!!! |
