Hi everybody,
this is Mario from Rome, formerly known as Sleepdriver, but the server/system/site/whatever stopped recognize my email so I had to re-create an account as Sleep.

I'm 37 and I'm a huge AV fan since New Year's Day of 2000 A.D. and I was then the youngest member of the official italian fan club, "Euphoria", run by Alessandra Bertaggia and Alessandra Montrucchio, and exactly in that period I started making my own music on my Casio CTK-631 keyboard, heavily inspired by 80s' new wave in each form and subgenre and especially influenced by Alphaville, A-ha, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Japan, The Associates, John Foxx, The Cure, Talk Talk, Tears For Fears, Kraftwerk, and many more :)

I just made my new album available for free listening both on YouTube and Spotify, my influences widened in the meantime and incorporated elements from progressive rock, jazz, art-rock, classical music and even melodic metal.
