Mine's been going on since I was 31. Can I have a new back please!

@Ana: I can't remember a time when I'd wake up energized and ready for the day, not even when I was a child. But now it feels like climbing out of the bed every day.

@Clare: My back aches since I was a teenager and I definitely understand the damage a bad mattress can do... I hope you'll recover soon.

I still can't take painkillers.

I must be going crazy or the brandy's won the race 32

I know that feeling of never being refreshed and energised by sleep. I told a doctor once that it had always been like this for me and he thought I was joking. I wish. At least my back hasn't ached that long. I remember the start. No hard mattresses for me. Ever.
