Official PC Topic

Since we don´t have a dedicated topic for our PCs and Macs, I´ll start.

I just got a new Dell PC for my work, running Windows 2000, 2.4GHZ Pentium 4, with 512MB RAM, 40GB harddisk. Everything is so much better on this, even the internet and specially the forum is much faster now, no waiting at all, no matter where I go. I gotta get one of these babes home soon!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, my PC at home is an old Dell Pentium 2, only 350MHZ, 12GB harddisk, but with 320MB RAM - which helps a lot. All my webwork has been done on this PC, but I will upgrade to something similar to my work PC, as soon as money matters permits it.

My very very smart little brother is about to graduate with his B.S. in Computer Science, so I always get his "old" computer, when he upgrades......but it is all fine with me, free is good when you are a struggling graduate or post-graduate student. I think my PC was new in 1999...and that is really all I know [dunce]. I don't know if it will work in Germany or not though...may need to be getting another ...

My PC look like this:

Pentium 4, 1.7 GHZ, harddisk of 120 GB and one 40 GB, Windows ME but change it to Windows 2000, DVD, 24 CD-burner and 19" Screen to that.

And a old but very good printer to that....
