Hello there!

Greetings from New Delhi, India, I was doing a cover version of the song Forever Young just for my own study purposes. I was wondering if you could help me get some insight on the recording of the same song and A Victory of Love in 1983 particularly which microphone and pre amp and mixing console was used to record Marian's Voice and the record. I have been enchanted and inspired to sing ever since.

I would be eternally grateful

Wow, I like his voice! fits the song very well. He isn't as good singer as Marian, but his voice fits the song very well.

Nice :) And his voice is like a Marian voice. I'm talking about the style of singing. :) Sadly music is very simple ( like from cheap keyboard ). Anyway, everyone has got, what is avaible in his / her life, in one moment :)

He has a very nice voice. Very clean. Has a bit of trouble with the high notes though but I'm sure he could manage it.

It´s good. A little trouble with high notes, but he can work on it.

Err... isn't this cover identical to original version?
Also he really should pitch down the harmony for nearly 3 semitones so that he could manage high notes - this is not a shame, this is also normal practice for AV, many songs are being pitched down for live purposes - FY, AVOL, Jerusalem, Elevator, SLAM to name just a few.

Apart from all of that - nice :)

It sounds like a demo...I thought he did a good job, and was even brave enough to attempt the high part at the end!!!
