Merci JetSet!

So next year we get a new Atlantic Popes album.

Sounds nice and I hope it will be chance to buy it as a real CD and not just iTunes and downloads....

The History behind Ceremony....

It was originally written by Joy Division front man Ian Curtis. They played it during some of their final shows. New order decided not to play any Joy division tracks when they continued on from Joy Division after Ian died. During some shows, Bernhardt Summer decided to pick the track Ceremony out and play it at some shows. It was then placed as a regular due to fans delight.

Bernhard Lloyd posted on his facebook as well as the Atlantic Popes facebook page a cryptic message about waiting for 7 days. Could it really be true that after all these years we are just one week away from album #2? At least we don't have to guess what style the music will be like we do with Marian...... it will be 100% synth!

One more week! One more week! Who else is excited to hear it?

ATLANTIC POPES return with "HOLD ON"
After 20 years of value-free contemplation, the out-of-time project AtlanticPopes by Bernhard Lloyd, co-founder of Alphaville and singer Max Holler, sends a more than clear sign of life with their corona-resistant epic "Hold on".
Independent music that emotionalises on deeply conductive sound paths, through the hypnotic effect of an unmistakable crooning voice.
