See, I have seen the same thing when people get drunk. And I don't call that fun..
I guess I just have a different idea of fun, that's all. I mean I went to LA two years ago and some people's definition of fun was getting so drunk and rolling around on the floor ripping up a piece of bread and smushing the crumbs into the floor. To me it looked stupid.. And their babble is quite dumb too.. Also cause I don't drink whenever I am at parties I was always the one making sure that the overly drunk one didn't end up with alcohol poisoning. Watching your friends puke their heads off isn't my idea of fun either.. You see, I am outgoing and I don't need alcohol to open up so I never saw the reason for it. And cause I am sober it isn't fun to be with overly drunk people who thnk that falling down stairs is cool (and I have seen this I am not just saying it) To me, I have just seen too much stupidity with drunk people that I no longer want to be around it. I mean I go to my fav clubs every week and as soon as we get there - we hit the dancefloor! And we don't drink at all. And we still have a blast - joking around etc. People are under the assumption that if you don't drink you can't have fun.. Many people who have met me and had fun with me can't believe that I get that crazy without alcohol. I guess I have too much adrenaline..heh. I run purely on adrenaline and believe me, it's a far better high than alcohol! (well, at least in my opinion) I don't mind being at parties where people drink, as long as they are not getting smashed or quite drunk. I am not one of those "won't be around it at all" types. Same with smoking, I don't smoke, but I don't care if my friends do. To each one's own you know? If you become militant abotu all those kind of things then you really do get quite uptight. Although I know that many, once reading this, will probably think I am a square or something.. But all I can say is you'd think otherwise once you spent some time with me. My rule is: as long as I don't have to carry you back to the car, I am fine with you. It's just that I myself don't want to drink. Tara ..pass me some pespi please! hehe... |

I have to admit I like a drink when I'm out with friends, although I hate being drunk. At university I used to say my German improved when I was drunk, (I thought so anyway!)
I envy Sacha, the beer in Belgium is so nice! |

I was on vacation with friends a few days ago.
We were in Eilat - its a city in the south and it is very hot so you should drink very often... Anyway, we were out one night, wandering from a club to another cause we couldnt decide where we wanted to go... We were walking for hours and i didnt drink anything.... my friends noticed that i was a little dizzy but i said : "WILL YOU JUST FIND A BLOODY PLACE TO HANG OUT SO I CAN HAVE A NORMAL BEER ?!?" Finally we found an English pub and i got what i wanted... and much more <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> My fave drinks are : CARLSBERG - its the best beer in the world ! GOLDSTAR - an Israeli beer named after the GOLD man <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> VODKA + ORANGE JUICE - yummy !!! ORGAZMA - the cocktail....... <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> and..... The most crazy thing that I've done being drunk is passing exam... I don't want to think about it now. Though I've got best mark I was ashamed being like that...
I like to drink a little at parties just to get into right mood... But if you drink too much it causes troubles to other people in better case... Drunk people can't control themselves well. They think that everything they does is right. And drunk people behind the wheel is horror... How many people dies because of it! I'm not against alcohol... Just wanted to say that you have to know limits...  I can see you through... |
