Thanks, everyone. Still feeling some knots in my stomach at times, but the real pains have subsided as of last Thursday.

Still got a long way to go, and the real challenge is trying not to strain my stomach...

Six weeks after they worked on me, I'm proud to say that everything seems okay so far, at least 90% of the time.

The strain from the hernia removal has been going down some, and this morning, there was that "weak stomach" feeling, but I did manage to get through the day just fine in the end.

Meanwhile, I worry for my girlfriend's mother. Five years ago, my gf was being treated for breast cancer. She made it through just fine, but this time, her mother has a bit that affected her back and her hip! She has had a partial hip replacement, and radiation treatment is underway (no chemo this time).

Hoping she gets through okay... :(

Feel your pain, Mu. Have had huge trouble with my thyroid and it landed me in hospital last year with a dangerously-high resting heart rate, but happily it's been stable for the past few months. Am due another blood test, so fingers crossed for me and for you.
