A Night In Utopia - The new logo
Sisters and Brothers,
the Helsingborg-topic (http://www.alphaville.org/showthread...392#post213392) opened our eyes to the new AV logo on their drumset. What do you think about it? What mysteries and symbols can you find in it? And: What parallels? Раз, два, три - Это верно ты! |

Those who know me and some of my postings around will have feel reminded of my aversion against swans, but hey...
Actually my first thought was that it reminded me of Queen. Раз, два, три - Это верно ты! |

Although they replaced the swan some time and made it look a bit more Mexican...[smile2]

At least, as Malila already found out, our Dr. Bunny obviously made it to get featured on AV's Bassdrum.
Was that deserved? Раз, два, три - Это верно ты! |

And: I like the TBB-sunface detail in the belower part of it. TBB outstandingly had the best AV cover at all
btw. and is one of the best ones among general album covers anyway. A musthave as vinyl!! Maybe AV should have taken over that fat gold and deep blue colours of that album... (Nagging, nagging... I know...) Раз, два, три - Это верно ты! |

I think Queen ressemblance is right, but heraldic symbols are a bit limited, so it may not be so related. [smile2]
@J: Although I always disagree about your dislike of swans, I mostly agree with your analysis of the coat of arms; except that a phoenix bird does not ressemble a royal eagle, no matter how fierce it's painted. [snooty] @JP: "No comment" ??? That's too "mute" for talkative Dr. Bunny. [bunny] |
