How do you support Alphaville ?
As we saw it with your support by voting for alphaville on the internet - you´re great!
I think the band is also living because of our work. So now my question: What else are you doing to support alphaville? Crazy things? Sometimes I put all alphaville-cds in the first row of all record-stores in Hamburg.... And every guest in my apartement has to listen to them, sometimes I first play other music and mix in between some unknown av-songs...that works with people that normaly don´t like them too much! |

I do just like Stefan with the cd´s in the stores! Put them in front of everything else!
And all my friends have to hear everything I love with AV, and that´s a lot. I go and write the name AV on all my books, and makes AV-things! And then I relate everything in school with AV songs! -I´m your best friend-the dream- |

I play them to my friends, my neighbours , talk about them with everyone i know, write the addresses of AV/AP on every possible site on the internet, I ask for BIJ on the local radio station (i even called there before the concert and said: "i want to hear BIJ and you should all go and buy tickets for the AV concert!!!" ....
and most important thing - i love them with all my heart, mind and soul !!! Thats what i do :)
------------------@ville - forever and ever------------------ Visit me at: http://members.nana.co.il/planet/euphoria
|

I used to work in my local Virgin record store, and when i started there i was lucky enough to be working on the same floor as the 6 disc cd player, and in the golden afternoons we were allowed to choose one cd each to put on the cd player and then it was put on random.you can guess who i used to choose.Unfortunately they eventually set up a radio station to be played in all the stores so that was the end of that, still, lovely while it lasted.

Oh yes, I call the radiostation Mix Megapol here and wish to hear an AV-song everyday...almost...But now the people there all know about me and AV, so they play them at least a couple of times every day, without me asking for it!
They even dedicate the AV-song for me! -I´m your best friend-the dream- |

you know I didn't think I really did much, then I was just going to finish making my daughter's birth announcements (ok ok so she's 7 months old and I'm just now starting to do it!) and it's got Alphaville all over it! It says:
"Little girl, do you know what you are? This baby's gonna be a star!"* A Star is Born! From the celestial heavens dropped our little ray of sunshine and then after her birth stats (birth weight, time of birth etc..) I wrote "Welcome to the Sun!" and then an asterix at the bottom saying "*from 'Red Rose' by Alphaville, in reference to the quote at the top. So I guess I do promote AV in my own little way. I really wanted to print the announcements on paper like the cover of the Breathtaking Blue, but I couldn't find any, believe it or not. So I'm putting it on a multi color paper with stars and streamers. Not your typical birth announcement paper, but then the birth announcement itself isn't all that typical. Just got some new pictures of stardustbunny scanned, but I'm not sure how to upload them. So, I'll just tell you my totally unbiased unprejudiced opinion....SHE'S REALLY CUTE! The future exists, first in Imagination, then in Will, then in Reality. |

In the past year Trent and I have gone on an Alphaville crusade
Everything we do we try to sneak in a wee bit of Alphaville Trent and I travel alot and we take our cds everywhere we go 9 times out of 10 the person sitting next to us will ask us what we're listening to and there's our bait and hook there!!!! We have them now and 9 times out of 10 when they listen they fall in love Unfortunately the people that I have met on the road I have never been able to contact again, just soft breezes that drifted through me life for an instant that I hope found some joy with Alphaville as much as I have Being slightly active in the music community we know alot of musicians and also tell them of Alphaville And then I have me online friends that I spread the word to Trent has had about 5 people join this forum and the e-groups and I have had about 7 people vote in that hitparade One of me friends said no more sites in German though heheh I meet new people everyday and everyday talk about Alphaville to someone at least once I have even been known to go into record stores and act like I am baffled when I do a search. When the attendants ask me if I need any help I will say very loudly (But not obnoxiously) Yes I LOVE Alphaville and they are never in your stores even though they are one of the best bands in the world! The older people will go "Oh yeah Alphaville, I remember them, They still alive?" Younger kids will say "Never heard of them or that sounds familiar" So to this I will say "Check them out sometime, Their new shite rocks" A better world..No hate and no lies..This could be the way to PARADISE!!
