winter can be nice if it's warm in your flat... but when cold winds blow from every window... when walls are cold as ice... it's hard to bear.

though I really like winter and snow.

Found something in the paper today,

"The heaviest snowfall for 12 years hit London yesterday. Arctic conditions disrupted roads and railways across the rest of Britain."

And how bad were these "Arctic" conditions I wondered?

6 inches of snow in Essex, 2 inches of snow in London, 4 inches in Kent. This leads to railway lines closed, signal failures etc etc etc.

I'd laugh if it weren't so bloody stupid![boggled]

it was -17C in the morning, -10C in the afternoon and -5C in the evening. But it's promised that temperature will fall again soon. I just hope it won't happen tomorrow.
