The first time I heard the name of this band I thought it was Debbie Love LOL
I have a best of album with them, but it´s only Sweet harmony that has come close to my heart.

I'm sorry to say that 'Sweet harmony' was in fact the only song that one may consider as good (very good even). The rest is simply boring.

I have to say that I really like a couple of their songs like I Love You More, You Got Me Thinking and especially Deliver Me.

They can be a bit monotonous sounding at times... but they have some good club sounds on a few songs.... I happen to like the more mellow stuff.

I like the early Beloved stuff,there was so much potential for a really interesting new sound with early EP's like 'Surprise Me' (especially the song 'Forever Dancing'-yeah crap title i know),'A Hundred Words' and 'Happy Now'.These EP's are well worth checking out.They seemed to become a bit more placid after the 'Happiness' album which is a shame because those first 4 years from 1986-1990 saw them creating some very intrigueing music and occasionally going out on a limb to bring the listener something refreshing.Im guessing whoever it was that said they were boring might not have much of a knowledge about their music,listen more!! You'll thank me for it (but give up after 'Happiness' tho).

Yeah people has different taste, right!!.....for example I can't find a track with The Beloved that I don't like and therefor I consider myself as one of the collector who has biggest collection with The Beloved/Jon Marsh
