Well, I wouldn't say they belong to the synth-pop genre anyway. I'm still curious about this thing. If a song is still good when it's performed in different styles and with different arrangements I think that's like a quality stamp. Have you heard Apocalyptica? It's a string quartet playing Metallica songs and it's really beatiful.
Karel Gott...ah well. I suppose he could ruin ANY song. At least he's a good laugh!

Well, of course Karel Gott is able to ruin everything but I read that AV said if there was somebody who was allowed to cover FY in German, then it was Karel Gott... He did a good job, the song isn't THAT bad....

Well this band on the pic looks like folk singers or something....

hey, before you make too much fun of Karel Gott you should read the fan interview section on the official site.... Marian lists Karel as one of his top 5 singers!

I did not say that Karel Gott was bad... I only said that he IS ABLE to ruin everything. I know that Marian likes him very much.

I would have got into a big anger if a stupid German hip hop band or someting made a German cover of FY. So I am satisfied with Karel Gott that he did it...
