I don't know, but his last name is 'Schierbaum', and that is a German name. And as far as I know, his parents are Germans, too. But I am not quite sure. Hope I could help you a bit :-) MC
*It doesn't matter*
|

Schierbaum is a typical jewish name, but I guess that canīt be the whole truth.
Should we ask Claudia? This is interesting... |

I always thought that 'Schierbaum' was a German name. I read that it comes from the East of Westphalia. And Marian comes from there. Every third person in East Westphalia is called 'Schierbaum'. So I still think it is a German name. But if it is not so, I should kill the phone book because it says that everybody there is called 'Schierbaum'... I don't ask myself why he changed his name into Gold.... 'Schierbaum' does not sound like a big pop star :-) I read that he called himself 'Gold' because of the figure of Immanuel Goldstein in the novel '1984' (one of my favourite books). I've got 'riven', the sequel to 'myst'. Great game but without a complete solution I would not get very far... I have one, but it is not very good, I don't have time to search for another one. So I did not finish 'Riven'. But it is a fantastic game. MC
*It doesn't matter*
|
