Oh, it's not THAT bad. You can make it look like you're watching SD on an SD TV if you like. It's all about the settings. I have it set on "movie theatre" which means it softens the picture considerably. I can even watch VHS, it looks as crappy as like on a standard def TV, however tolerable if the film is good :)

The only time I have been really impressed by picture quality, has been a Pioneer Blu-ray DVD on a Pioneer Plasma screen, that looks good !!!!!

Pioneer Plasma rules....I love my 42" !!!
As for Enterprise....it's not nearly as great as Voyager, DS9 and TNG. I have only watched the first 2 seasons though... |

Majel Barrett-Roddenberry 1932 † 2008
Sad news tonight...
First lady of Star Trek, Majel Barrett-Roddenbarry has past away at the age of 76. She died from leukaemia. She played many different roles on Star Trek, most notably as nurse Chapel in the original series, and as the computer voice in all six series. She was the widow of the late Gene Roddenberry, creator of Star Trek. http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Majel_Barrett Rest in peace, Majel Barrett. |

I am still shocked and VERY sad about this. I always loved her character on TNG and DS9, Lwaxana Troi. :(((( |

That's sad news indeed. I also was a great fan of her character as Diana's mother. Sooo funny!

What sad news about Majel Barrett. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Majel was the quality control administrator of all productions of the Roddenberry organization. I wonder what the future will hold.

The first season kind of sucks if you ask me, season 2 is probably my favourite of ENT, that's when things actually starts to happen! |
