but those of you who love CROG may concede that Salvation has much more quality in compositions, melodies, arrangements, performances and production! And I think that's a neutral fact! Have a look at Pandora's Lullaby: We can forget about the fact that nowadays even a major company like Universal wouldn't pay that easily for a real orchestra, but the song itself has a level CROG's elements don't have. And that embarrassing "Orchestral" version of Fallen Angel shows a lot about the current level. Раз, два, три - Это верно ты! |

So CROG arrived this morning. I had a listen to it while I put it on my mp3 player but I will listen to it in more detail later. Very little stands out at first except...
Not sure I can stand the whistling on song for no one but myself. In fact my first thought is it could have stayed that way. More Roger Whittaker than Alphaville, maybe it'll grow on me. I liked The Deep and look forward to hearing that again. Not sure what has been gained by doing more unneccesary stuff to CYF and MH. They were much better before. ....it was them what drove me to drink!" [drunk] Grandad, Only Fools and Horses (UK sitcom) |

Hmm, I'm not sure mysterious is right word, since my English isn't that brilliant, but at least interesting. Have to little agree on cliches though.

It's a shame that the most interesting lyrics have been borrowed from other sources (the chorus in Heaven On Earth and the Polari parts in TTIDD).

I'm finding CROG to be very hard going. I have to force myself to listen to it.

Yeah, it's really difficult, hard-on-the-ears, brain-twisting hardcore stuff [tonque]

It's maybe me as I find it hard to listen to any music these days. I've got a load of stuff on my mp3 player that I haven't yet listened to,old familiar tracks are fine but new stuff takes more effort than I have the energy for. Plus there's the whistling... *cringe*
