What?? These is one of those things that you never see coming. It's so sad, I really don't know what to think or say, It's too much weird

Is there a reason to stay any longer, waiting for something to come?

Some days have passed now and I wake up and am like... what? Was that not just a dream? In a way it was. A lingering nightmare that keeps unfolding. Taking it in bit by bit, but I don´t really want to. Trying to resist it.

I´m just sad, missing Martin a lot, and feeling so grateful for that big, warm, happy hug he gave me in the hotel lobby 2 months ago. Such a lovely person, so unfair.

Thank you again guardian angel for everything.

Never forget you

Everything I think has been written by you all.
We will never forget you Martin, thank you for all that you gave us.
I think of your family and dear friends. What a sad birthday for Marian. Oh my God!
It's raining on Paris today. My heart is in pièces and I realize that he should have been there with us in september. He was too Young to die.
It's impossible that such a horrible thing happened...

I've just read this horrible news on the mailinglist and I'm totally shocked.
I can't find the right words right now to express how I feel. [bheart]l

Rest in peace, Matin! You were a wonderful person. [cry]

I found a nice comment on the net:

"I went to school with him in the seventies back in Widnes, UK, when he was known as Ian, or Lizzy to us. I kept a record he made in the eighties by Congress, called Contract of Faith. There were lots of one-off singles deals at the time for bands and I used to shop for them, seeing his face on the cover as I was browsing and was dead surprised. It’s a good tune, sadly forgotten, very much if its time, and not evidently on You Tube. I didn’t know the Alphaville stuff. I don’t do Facebook either and so don’t have anyone to talk to about it. Oh well, rest in pace, Lizzy. Somebody remembers you, old mate."

That's a sweet comment. So sad. I think what is a shock for us all is that Martins passing is so unexpected. He was young too which is sad. Who thought this would happen? I think if we were expecting it, it wouldn't be much of a shock, of course still would be sad. Reminds me of my favorite actor, John Ritter, who passed away unexpectedly, shocked everyone. But when it happens to your loved one, like my grandpa who also passed unexpectedly, it's terrible. I guess what I'm trying to say is that death is a very sad and depressing thing, but our loved one we have lost is in a better place and as much as we probably hate hearing that, I do believe that 100%. Alphaville will never be the same and no one can replace Martin.
