I personally am as happy as the rest of Europe, according to a poll by BBC World. I know that Germany is happy at least.
I also think the US has made a decision that has moved them forward a lot even in the past 24 hours. |

I totally get where you're coming from, Nicole. I have to admit though, I'm relieved Obama won, mainly because I hated Romney & Co's attitude towards women in particular, as illustrated by some unfortunate comments they made. I also think that Obama will move the country in a good direction politically. Financially, well, I feel the US is in bad shape (like most of the world these days) and four years is not going to make a big difference...

I get that a lot of people wanted Obama to win..Im a republican, so of course I wanted Romney to win. There were things I didn't agree with Romney, but I feel that Obama didn't make much of a process in his 4 years. As mentioned before, I don't want to offend anyone.

Hey Nicole, I don't feel you're offending anyone. Everyone has their own way of thinking and seeing things, and therefore we are all entitled to express our own opinions. Personally, I think being able to discuss things with someone who thinks differently than you do can be very interesting. As an example, I have several friends who believe in UFOS and ETs. I don't, but I still find the subject really interesting because of all the possibilties it brings up! I don't try to change their mind, because I respect them and their beliefs, and they don't ttry to change mine, and we still get along!

Thanks for understanding! And you are right, it is very interesting. The reason why I say that Im offending someone is because politics can be a very personal subject. That's cool that you have nice friends that can talk about anything and you all be cool about it I believe that's how it should be!
