Is a bad cover good for AV?
Alphaville have said that they think AV covers are good for them, even if the sucks...
Not every AV-cover I have heard is that bad..I mean, it´s not better than the orginal one, but there are still good songs...Personally I think the technoversion of FY is really good. But do you think that it´s good for AV that bad covers on their songs are made? Even if a bad cover means that AV will be brough back to the spotlight in some way? |

I think some good covers are:
Marshall & Alexander - The Impossible Dream Vanity Affair - Sounds Like A Melody Raindancer - Fallen Angel Alexandra Ungureanu & Crush - Sounds Like A Melody But to the question, think if a cover will be played at the radio, and are terrible it´s anyway promotion for Alphaville!

^ What about Laura Branigan's "Forever Young"? That was done beautifully, I think.
I really have to find some of these other covers, even if it's just to listening to the demos on Amazon. And sure, any rendition, regardless of quality, would be good for the original artist. Hello, my friend...
