It is my turn to stir the political pot.

I agree with poul e - there is something about Obama that makes me very suspicious about his motivation and his ability to lead the US out of war and economic collapse. Obama is just too smooth in his words and the delivery of them. He is a great preacher but that may be all.

I carefully watched this political race and did not see any substance behind Obamas talk. (Hillary was robbed!) However, we will have a new president and I pray that he will listen to his advisers most of whom coincidentally are from the Clinton presidency.

During the campaign, Michelle Obama made the statement that this was the first time in her life that she was proud of her country. This revelation coming from a lawyer whose livelyhood relies upon her ability to speak honestly and communicate effectively has shared with the world her true feelings for the United States.

I am not impressed.

I am easily satisfied with the very best.

I'm not into politics in a big way but I read Obama's book 'Tales From My Father' and I think he is a man of substance.
