It's not just Alphaville involved in this album. The record company makes the decisions. There are higher forces at work here.

And the Majors are always waiting for the "right time" to release a new CD. It can be very long.

Maybe the record company thought that the album was not commercial enough to be released and Alphaville had to change it with new sound and maybe new songs als

And there were one more year added into the production. And if Marian would like to have it released 27th septemer this year, he maybe became a little stressed

I just hope we get it to Paris!

I searched Universal Music Group's list of artists. Alphaville was not included, at least not on their main page anyway...

Gosh no, AV works the other way around (with an exception for So Long Celeste), and this partly explains the delay. I don't see Marian compromising on his artistic direction.
