Some clumsy lyrics from me

Well, someone in Polish forum gave me an idea of writing song named "Catching Rays of Giant" from name of latest album. I wrote these clumsy lyrics (but quite good for my age; I'm 12):

I thought there’s no way for escape
But now I see I was wrong
Strange landscapes in the rising sun
are going to stay longer in my head.
Isn’t it wonderful that we are free?
Let’s take some shining daystar
We chased sad shadows away
And found our place on Earth

chorus: And we’re catching rays on Giant
We’re running away from gray life
People can say what they want
But we don’t think about going back

We’re sitting among the ruins
Nobody can see our happiness
We’re looking on the blue sky
Early clouds are flying lazily over us
Isn’t it wonderful that we are free?
Let’s take some shining daystar
We chased sad shadows away
And found our place on Earth

chorus

As a tween I really used to think my username is so clever, huh.

Thank you, Dreamscapes, for opening up new dreamscapes to this young soul.

As the worst lyrics writer myself I've always been jealous of others that are able to do this. And you're only 12, writing in english too - I say bravo to you !!

Clumsy? No way, don't think that I will be able to do that! Great work!

You can do just what you wanna
You can kill or you can die
Be a beggar or a princess
But you'll never lose your style

Well... Please don't kill me...
I've just got a little courage to write a short poem. I wrote many more during my absence on that topic, but... Well. This one came up into my mind after some news and listening to London Sky.
I think that the poem's topic is quite easy to guess. Keep trying.

Somebody sang that crows go west
But apparently they turned east
Again ignored advise: "The best
Is not to wake the asleep beast"

Some people now fear an internal war
Knowing that both sides are no angels
And the beast show us its middle finger
Against our waving a wooden sable

Nicely done. You're gifted.

Whatever you do, never explain yourself : your friends don't need it, and your enemies won't believe you.

I agree with everyone else: Very talented, especially for your age.
