the name "alphaville forever" is almost boring generic - and thats actually what i liked about it.
plus both sites have different identities and both are adressing different audiences - the other one is a local one, mine is (though it yet sounds absolutely overblown) global. i hope (and i'm sure) the south american guys are fine with that :)

don't get the purpose of the website -an artwork concept ?-, still the design is groomed, with HQ (unpublished-for some) pictures, on the overall I like it.

Actually, when I saw the name of your site, I thought it was part of the one that already exists with the Alphaville Forever name. I also don't understand the purpose of the site and what you plan or what you want to achieve with it.

Yeah, it needs a new name and it's own domain, it deserves that, the design is great.

for now the name will stay as it is. and regarding the domain thing: let's wait and see (if and) how the blog grows. if i meet the audiences taste maybe i'll think about it :)

Ok, you should definately get www.avforever.com before it's gone, if you decide to keep that name...

It doesn't matter. Just the words are enough to make those who already know the site think of it. Plus there is no star in the URL.
