The box set could have been covered by a metal box, ala Public Image Limited 2nd Edition

I got the same email, and I got my replacement package today (I was due an entire new Whisky A-Go-Go box + lid). Today, I received the package, handed to me directly by our postal carrier.
...and it's even more damaged than the first one was. Corner of the lid is split, and the curved portion of the "building" was caved in. Oh well. At least inside of the box were the final versions of the DVDs/BluRays, so that's nice. |

I got the replacement box and the new blue rays were contained in it. Everything is perfect now
