This reminds me that back in the 90s a very kind fan from the US sent me a CDr with remixes of „Life is King“ that he created. I remember them being awesome, but unfortunately the CDr is unplayable today so I have no chance to listen to them again.
Though Gold is not known for being a fan of remixes I think there’s a tiny chance that one of those could‘ve been a candidate for the web songs. So - if that awesome person who gave them to me (with a blue cover derivated from the Wishful Thinking CD) is on the forum: any chance you still have these mixes? |

How did he make a remix without the vocals by themselves? Back in the 90s tools didn't exist which can separate songs into (semi-usable admittedly) multi-tracks. hmm. Unless he somehow built his remix around the original version's arrangement.

‘Nu’? You’re sure you didn’t hit the wrong key and wanted to type “Mu”, referencing the justified ancients of Mu-Mu (furthermore known as the Jams etc) who have unfortunately deleted their whole Back Catalogue so I have to utilise Discogs to get my hands on CDs in order to create proper MP3s of their awesomeness?

hehe. All I'll say is the song I'm thinking of constantly references a very common household appliance which can be found in most homes and karaoke.

I'm stumped if that isn't it then. I'm not smarter than Gold I suppose...

What's up at www.alphaville.de?
This will end up me with having KLF-Songs spinning in my head for the rest of the day. Absolutely recommended for every Household and Karaoke machines.
Or - what exactly did you mean?

I know ;-) and no one will turn up the strobe no matter how long we’re waiting for some new light.

So, what you're saying is if Marian invites guests to his house and one of them comments on a room being abnormally dark, he'll respond with "We're waiting for the new light"? haha.
Just a question: Do any other versions of Heartbreaker exist? I'd love to know if a longer version was made or if any demos exist. |
