Actually, I think maybe they've got it at last. Eurovision never was a pop contest, it has alway been an easy listening/middle of the road contest (Schlager as the Germans call it.) That's why I don't watch it, I hate that type of music. So by not submitting a wannabe lousy pop band the UK may have a chance. Oh god, I hope not!

I am happy if it passes through to the final, which I think it has a chance to do. But one never knows how Europe votes.

Btw: Last Friday I was flying on the same plane as the brothers who won ESC with "Fly on the wings of love".

Watched the national selection online and had this one picked out as a winner as soon as I heard it. Singing Spanish or whatever, Spain always gives Romania 12 points. Probably because so many Romanians live there and vote
