I downloaded the single on Amazon and I was then offered that I would get the money back / substracted from the purchase sum if I pre-ordered the album download (but NOT the CD or Vinyl). But I ordered the CD at MediaMarkt instead anyway, because they were faster at providing audio snippets, promised faster delivery and were also some Euros cheaper.
I prefer to dance to my own beat I prefer to sing my own song I prefer to live - do you wanna come along? (Ephemere - Eternal Travelers pt. III) NEW ALBUM RELEASED: Check out my synth-rock band EPHEMERE's latest, the wonderfully synth-heavy LP "Hobos & Architects": www.ephemere.de |

No different versions, no physical single (we had to learn that, too as we had the same expectations as you guys). "Instant Grat" is a misleading term IMHO, as you pay for the digital album and are allowed to download the song instantly. Some online services offer HBC as "Single" with 1 track and the dedicated cover artwork, though. From a consumers perspective it probably makes more sense to order the album, I think. |

This is how it usually works for "singles now". You buy the album and you get to download the tracks that have been released as "singles". Physical CD singles are hard to find or are non existent for recent releases by Duran Duran and Depeche Mode. No one expects the songs to become chart hits (the charts now are meaningless). It is simply a tool to get people to buy the album.

The single entered the german airplay charts - on #283 this week. The interest is growing!

Sorry if a dumb question, but have been out of the loop. Where can we download this? Don't see it on ITunes.

Well, this week the single is already out of the top 300.
Hopefully this will change after the TV appearances! Quote:
