Rarest AV recording ? - Alphaville Forum

I wonder what is the rarest alphaville CD or vinyl?
I know Marian's cd "United" is pretty hard to come by. Are there any really rare recordings that everybody would love to get their hands on?

Sorry if this topic has been discussed before but i am relatively new to the forum.

Well...most promoes are pretty hard to find....
I myself am missing these releases in my collection:

Feathers and tar - Marian Gold CD single (South African promo)
One step behind you - Marian Gold CD single
Today - Marian Gold CD single (promo)
Impossible dream CD single
Forever young 2001 CD single (promo) only 500 copies made
Forever young CD single (German promo 1996)

But I also have some pretty rare CD singles:
Forever young 2001 CD single Fan edition send out for free to fans
Alphaville 3" single incl. long versions of SLAM, FY and BIJ
Elegy CD single included in 700 copies of Crazyshow
Dance wit me 2001 CD single extremely rare Cd single with a misprint....the missing "h" in "with"

and these are only CD singles...there are also a lot of rare Alphaville vinyl records out there.....

My guess would be that these are the most rare CD singles but I don't know for sure:

Today promo
FY 2001 promo
FY 2001 fan edition
Dance wit me CD single with misprint

I would say:

Today - Marian Gold CD single (promo)

This is the only one I don´t have.

The rarest CD I do have is:

Feathers and tar - Marian Gold CD single (South African promo)

I guess the rarest recording i have is an original UK Forever Young album on vinyl. This is the one with the picture of the band on the front, not the stone face. I have heard this is pretty rare. (I have liked Alphaville from their first single release in the early 80s)
I have to admit i havent even heard of some of the Marian Gold stuff - but i am really getting in to it. A bit late i know!

Yes Krapplund...there are lots of rare Alphaville releases....I only mentioned CD singles....but for sure "History" and the "FY Golden" CD are very rare.

Hmmm....but the "Sounds like a Melody" Vinyl (from Spain) i don´t think is a rarity...you meen the red 7" or?
