I dont have the original, but i managed to download all the 8 cds.Total of 126 tracks in full. Is this how many is on it.?

According to Moonbase, the original had 125 songs on it.

if I remember right..... the version on i-tunes had one song that was not on the original boxset.... a demo version of Whales.

Yes that is correct - 125 songs from the original version + one bonus song (the whales song) is 126 tracks.

In 1993 Alphaville brought out a fanclub casette called "History".

Are the following versions the same on "Dreamscapes" as on "History"?

01. Headlines (alt. lyrics),
02. Fallen Angel (demo),
03. Big yellow Sun,
06. She fades away (demo),
07. Ariana (demo),
08. Universal Daddy (demo),
09. Jet Set (demo).
12. Leben ohne Ende (demo),

Wonder why these tracks were left off "Dreamscapes"?

04. Voice of the Dolphins,
05. Dance with me (demo),
10. Big in Japan - live,
11. Islands - live,
13. Forever Young (covered by a reggae band),
14. And i Wonder (promo remix)
