Kim Wilde was the only other artist at the festival that I wanted to see because I was rather curious about what she sounded like live. And I wasn't disappointed, she was really great!

I remember when "Cambodia" was the big summer hit...It sounded really good at the beach on a hot summer day!
The only time I got to see her live was at the Michael Jackson concert in Paris in 1988...She was awesome, and the promoter had not said who the opening act was going to be, so it was a complete suprise. I even recorded a cover of "You Came" but lost track of the tape that it was on. It wasn't that good, but I was proud of it LOL. Anyway, I really like Kim, and I'm glad she had a nice life after the pop scene. |
